We are an authentic Romany gypsy family who have been based in the South East of England for over six generations. We have been established in Gravesend for 60 years.

Michael Senior and wife Jane, their daughter Jane and son Michael, with his wife Lorraine  and young sons Michael, Luke and Tom all work together day to day caring for and tending to the herd of 250 cobs all year round. The horses, part of the family tradition, knowledge and passion for these horses is passed down generation to generation.

We are extremely proud of our own horses, but much more than that, we are proud and honoured to be part of the background of the gypsy horse. The Vine family has been responsible for some of the best gypsy horses ever, we are involved in the breed becoming what it is today. We all work extremely hard day to day to breed cobs with the best conformation, hair and of course temperament, we breed the best to the best  to consistantly reproduce the finest gypsy horses in the world today.

We have been told that our horses are the reference point for gypsy cobs across the world,  our horses speak for themselves which ever country they may be in. It is no accident that our horses have proved to be so popular and sought after, this is the result of careful breeding and depth and quality of our own herd.

As a family we are very passionate about our horses and the breed. It is in our blood, it is our heritage. For us, it is not all about dealing or selling, if we never sold another horse, we would still always have these horses as part of our family. We have loved these horses for generations and hope that in the future, this breed will continue to grow and flourish under the watchful eye of the Vines Family for many generations to come.
